About SPIRIT SAPPHIC

SPIRIT SAPPHIC was a comic I’m affectionately calling a proof of concept. I’m pretty unsatisfied with the overall quality of the project, but through the weird writing and the wonky and inconsistent art, I was able to prove to myself that I CAN do a comic.

For the longest time, I had this weird fleeting longing to tell stories through comics, but I always had my doubts that I’d have the patience and motivation to consistently work on a long, grueling project. So, even if I find myself wishing I did this better, I can be proud in the fact that I was able to get past the initual hurdle of hesitation and doubt.

If you’re one of the handful of people who stuck with the slow updates through to the end, with all the long waiting and radio silences on my Twitter page, thank you for sticking it out. I hope my next projects will be even more enjoyable for you.

I think it's very important to preserve your artistic works, so I am glad I was able to archive this version of SPIRIT SAPPHIC in a place where it will remain visible outside of Twitter.

This image is from the post announcing the cancellation of the comic, and I want to emphasize further that SPIRIT SAPPHIC is not dead. I think this version served its purpose, and I will return with a new, better story.
